Is it better to update a bathroom, or will that just make it look like it needs updating in a few years if I try to sell? When I’m pondering my guest bathroom (full of unmatched tile, in a 1920s building) is it better to try to keep with with the latest styles in bathrooms or go classic but dull?
dear chicagogardener,
interior designer susan fredman has offered up an answer to your good question. you can read it in the “Small bath: To remodel or not to remodel?” entry in the “Stumped?” chapter!
